Fern Barry, OTR/L graduated from Boston University in 2001 and has worked in a variety of pediatric settings including sensory integration clinics, early intervention, and public and private schools with a diverse population of children. Fern has advanced training in sensory integration, reflex integration, fine and visual motor development, handwriting, visual perceptual impairment, treating the child with hypotonia, feeding disorders, executive functioning, anxiety and Autism Spectrum disorders. In addition, Fern is certified in Therapeutic Listening and has a strong background in fitness. Fern is passionate about helping children and their families find their true potential and achieve that “I can” attitude and always strives to tailor services to meet the unique needs of each client. As Clinical Director, Fern especially enjoys reaching out to related professionals and collaborating with therapists to provide innovative, comprehensive and family friendly services to the community. When not at work, Fern can be found spending time with her husband and two young sons playing outdoors, crafting, baking, and teaching group exercise classes.
