Heather Paciga, COTA Born and raised in Wisconsin, Heather attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where she graduated with a Bachelor in Psychology. After discovering her passion for occupational therapy, Heather put herself through college a second time to pursue occupational therapy *at Western Wisconsin Technical College.*
Heather has experience with a wide variety of diagnosis placing emphasis on promoting learning, confidence, executive functioning and life long skills. She has experience working with the geriatric population, however, working in pediatrics has always been a dream job and personal goal to be able to provide therapy for kids. Heather believes play is an important occupation for children implementing creative approaches when addressing development and/or dysfunction, whether it is rehabbing lost skills or helping those that are slow to develop. A big believer in the quote by Audrey Hepburn, “Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible’.” Heather likes to make the seemingly impossible possible while striving to meet each individual where they are in order to foster success.
