Kaitlin grew up in a small town in South Jersey. She received a Bachelors in Health Sciences and Masters in Occupational Therapy from Misericordia University, after completing their five-year occupational therapy program. During her education, Kaitlin was a teaching assistant for pediatric and geriatric courses, in addition to a daycare aide. She also volunteered at a local art studio for artists with disabilities, nursing homes, a camp for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families, and a week long service trip to Jamaica.
Before joining the Good Beginnings team, Kaitlin worked in a pediatric outpatient clinic where she provided services to, and collaborated with children (birth through young adult) and their families. Kaitlin has been trained and developed skills in treatment areas including DIR Floortime, sensory integration, reflex integration, handwriting, social-emotional skills, fine and gross motor skills, and more. Kaitlin is passionate about providing occupation-based, evidence-based, and individualized treatments to the children she works with. Additionally, she believes in and advocates the importance of the occupation of play in a child’s life as this is fundamental to their development, well-being, and overall quality of life.
During her free time, Kaitlin loves to cook and bake new recipes with her husband, train and go for walks with her new Komondor puppy, Koda, spend time with family and friends, and work on arts and craft projects. She is grateful for the opportunity and so excited to start her journey with Good Beginnings!
