Lizzy McLean has been a licensed occupational therapist for the past 13 years specializing in pediatrics her entire career in San Diego, CA. Lizzy has extensive experience working with children ages 0 to 21 years with neuro-muscular and musculo-skeletel disorders. Lizzy believes every child should have the opportunity to find their joy and feel empowered by their independence. She has organized wheelchair dance classes, adaptive cycling, a Transitioning into Adulthood Symposium and inclusion retreats. Lizzy has additional training in feeding medically complex children, kinesiotaping, Neuro-Developmental Treatment and mindfulness based therapy. Over the years Lizzy has attended multiple seminars relating to early childhood development, sensory processing, manual therapies, and splinting. She has experience working in early intervention, the school, the community and clinic setting. Lizzy lives in Fairfax with her husband and two children.
